The X and Y chromosomes are the two sex cells that every man has in his body. So, naturally if you want to conceive a boy it is the Y chromosome that you will want to fertilize the egg. Doesn’t this sound simple? Yes, but there are some factors which can have an effect on the outcome you want.
Y chromosomes swim faster than the X chromosomes so are usually the ones which will reach the egg first. But what you need to consider is that these sperm do not have the ability to survive long in a woman’s vagina because of the acidic PH level in it.
Many couples trying to make a bay will arrange to have sex over a number of days in the hope that on one of these days they can create the little boy that both their hearts die. I guess there is nothing wrong with using this method as long as the couples are not too bothered about what their baby is going to be. Also what they need to understand is the sperm is going to released several days before the woman ovulates and so those are carrying the Y chromosome will be weak and will probably die before the egg has even been released.
So to conceive a boy then the couple needs to make sure that the man’s sperm enters the woman’s vagina as she ovulates. There are ovulation prediction kits one can purchase to help with this. The ones that tend to be most accurate are those kits which test your saliva and you need to remember that if you are off by just one or two days this can result in your having a girl rather than a boy.
Before a woman tries to conceive she needs to know the Ph level in her vagina. Unfortunately too much acid will be harmful to the male sperm. So in order for you to conceive a little boy you need to make sure that there is as much alkaline in it as possible. To change the acidity level in your vagina you can use a douche or eat certain foods and avoid others. A way to save money on the vaginal douches is to make them at home.
Another thing that needs to be considered is the sexual intercourse position. To conceive a little boy then the couple need to select an intercourse position which will result in the sperm being much closer to the woman’s cervix. Also this often means the level of penetration for both is much deeper. Plus to further improve a couple’s chances of having a son the woman needs to try and not orgasm as they make love. I am sure that once the woman has delivered her baby, in the end she will not be bothered whether she has conceive a boy or a girl as long as they are healthy and they have all their fingers and toes.
